Like all of BU baits they just catch fish. The matte purple is an awesome color, paired with a craw or creature bait of your choice they catch fish year round. I am a big fan of matte brown but always like purple colors for bass. So when the matte purple dropped I had to have them. I highly recommend the 4/0 hooks if running a thicker/bigger trailer. PS. They’re not just for finesse fishing
